A man walks into a bar and declares loudly, “I bet anyone in here a hundred dollars that I can squeeze a lemon completely dry with just my bare hand!”
The bar was full of big, tough-looking guys. One of them, a huge man with arms like tree trunks, immediately stands up. “I’ll take that bet,” he says, with a booming voice.
The man who made the bet pulls out a lemon from his pocket. He hands it to the huge man.
The huge man grabs the lemon and starts squeezing. He grunts, his face turns red, and veins pop out on his forehead. He squeezes with all his might until a few drops trickle out. He then hands the lemon back and says, “There. Your turn. Let’s see you get any more out of that.”
The first man, who is small and skinny, takes the lemon, smiles, and closes his hand around it. Without any visible effort, a steady stream of juice pours out into a glass.
The huge man is in shock. The whole bar is silent. He pays the hundred dollars and asks, “What in the world do you do for a living? Are you a professional weightlifter?”
The small man smiles, pockets the money, and says, “No. I work for the tax office.”
