The New Employee

A new employee starts his first day at a big office. He’s a bit nervous but determined to make a good impression. His manager takes him on a tour.

“This is your desk,” the manager says, pointing to a small cubicle. “And this is your computer. We’re a very productive team here, so we expect you to work hard.”

The new employee nods eagerly. “Absolutely! I’m ready to give 110%!”

The manager smiles. “That’s the spirit! Now, let me show you the most important part of our office: the coffee machine.”

He leads the new employee to a fancy, high-tech coffee machine. “This machine,” the manager explains, “is the heart of our operations. It keeps everyone going.”

The new employee looks impressed. “Wow, it looks complicated. How do I use it?”

The manager gestures grandly. “Simple! You just press the ‘espresso’ button for a quick boost, the ‘latte’ button for a smoother start, or the ‘decaf’ button if you’re planning on leaving early.”

The new employee blinks. “Decaf for leaving early?”

The manager winks. “Exactly. That way, when you tell us you’re feeling tired, we’ll know you’re just trying to sneak out without us noticing the caffeine withdrawal.”
