The Ghost Hunter’s New Mission

An experienced ghost hunter was facing a new case. Reports had come in from one of the city’s oldest mansions about strange noises at night and objects moving on their own.

The ghost hunter went to the mansion at midnight. He set up his equipment: thermal cameras, EMF meters, and a specially designed ghost-catching net.

As he quietly moved through the mansion, he heard clattering from the kitchen. He slowly approached the door and peered inside.

In the middle of the room, an old radio had turned itself on, playing crackling music. Plates on the table were floating in the air, and forks were dancing.

The ghost hunter smiled. “There you are, you little rascal,” he whispered.

He prepared his net, and just as he was about to catch one of the plates, he heard a sound.

“Meow?”

The ghost hunter turned around in surprise. On the floor sat an old, grumpy-looking cat. At the tip of the cat’s paw was the radio’s on/off switch.

The cat meowed again and pushed a plate with its paw. The plate slowly fell to the floor.

The ghost hunter rubbed his eyes. “So… so you were causing all these disturbances, you little furball?”

The cat nodded as if confirming, and then another meow followed.

The ghost hunter sighed. “Alright,” he said. “I guess my ‘ghost’ hunt tonight turned into a bit more of a… furry chase.
