An elderly man walks into a tech repair shop, looking distraught.
“My television remote isn’t working,” he says to the young technician. “I’ve tried everything! New batteries, pointing it directly at the TV, even shaking it vigorously.”
The technician, a patient sort, takes the remote and examines it. He presses a few buttons, and nothing happens. He then flips it over, looks at the back, and a small smile plays on his lips.
“Sir,” he says, handing the remote back, “this isn’t your television remote.”
The old man squints at it, then his eyes widen in realization.
“Oh, my goodness!” he exclaims. “No wonder! This is my garage door opener!”
