Morning Rush

A young executive is racing against the clock on a Monday morning. He’s trying to get ready for an important meeting, but everything seems to be going wrong. His coffee machine isn’t working, he can’t find his car keys, and his shirt has a stain.

He finally bursts out of his house, looking disheveled, and runs straight into his neighbor, who is calmly watering his lawn.

“Good morning!” the neighbor chirps. “You seem to be in a bit of a hurry.”

The executive groans. “You have no idea! It’s Monday, I’m late for work, and I’ve already had the worst morning ever.”

The neighbor chuckles. “Oh, come on. It can’t be that bad.”

“It is!” the executive insists. “First, my smart alarm clock didn’t go off. Then, my smart coffee maker decided to stage a protest. My smart car wouldn’t unlock with my smart key! And now, I’m pretty sure my smart shirt just judged my life choices!”

The neighbor smiles. “Sounds like your smart home is trying to tell you something.”

The executive glares at his house. “Yeah, I think so too. It’s probably trying to tell me I should just stay in bed!”
