Headache Wish

A lonely old man found an ancient lamp while cleaning out his dusty attic. With a hopeful sigh, he rubbed it, and poof! A majestic, shimmering genie appeared, filling the small room with an ethereal glow.

“Thank you, master, for releasing me!” boomed the genie’s voice, echoing slightly. “As a reward, I grant you three wishes. But heed my warning: whatever you wish for, someone else will get double of it.”

The old man pondered for a moment, his eyes twinkling. “For my first wish,” he declared, “I wish for a million dollars!”

Poof! A pile of crisp, new banknotes appeared before him. “Excellent!” exclaimed the genie. “And somewhere, someone else just received two million dollars. What is your second wish, master?”

The old man smiled. “For my second wish, I wish for a beautiful, luxurious mansion with a massive garden, a swimming pool, and a staff to maintain it all.”

Poof! The attic transformed, showing glimpses of a grand estate outside the window. “Remarkable!” said the genie. “And someone else now owns two such mansions. What is your final wish, master?”

The old man leaned in conspiratorially, his eyes glinting mischievously. “For my third and final wish,” he whispered, “I wish to have the most agonizing, unbearable headache in the entire world!”
