A man sees a sign outside a house: “Talking Dog for Sale.” Intrigued, he knocks on the door.
“I hear you have a talking dog,” the man says to the owner.
“Yep,” the owner replies. “He’s in the backyard.”
The man goes into the backyard and sees a Labrador sitting by a fence. “So, you can talk?” the man asks the dog.
“I sure can,” the dog says.
The man is amazed. “This is incredible! What’s your story?”
The dog looks up and says, “Well, I discovered I could talk when I was just a puppy. I knew it was a special gift, so I decided to use it for good. I joined the CIA and worked as an undercover agent. I’ve been on secret missions all over the world, listening in on spies and world leaders. It was a very exciting life.”
The man is absolutely blown away. He runs back to the owner. “That dog is amazing! Why on earth would you sell him?”
The owner shrugs. “Because he’s a liar. He’s never even been out of the country.”
