A man came home from work and saw his wife frantically preparing dinner in the kitchen. “Honey,” he said, “it smells delicious! What’s for dinner?”
The woman smiled. “I made a special dish today. A very rare, exotic recipe!”
The man got excited. “Really? How wonderful! So, what’s the main ingredient?”
The woman paused for a moment, then grinned. “Well, the main ingredient is… a bit unusual. But you won’t believe how delicious it tastes!”
They sat down at the dinner table. The woman brought a steaming, strange-looking dish. The man took his first bite, chewed, and his face contorted. “This… this tastes very odd. What is it?”
The woman winked. “I didn’t tell you to keep it a surprise. But here’s a hint: I found it in the garden.”
The man frowned. “In the garden? A vegetable? An herb?”
The woman shook her head. “No, no. Something more… lively.”
The man swallowed hard. “Lively? What do you mean lively? Is this a frog or something?”
The woman burst out laughing. “No, not a frog. Actually, while I was working in the garden today, I found the ball that the neighbor’s dog lost. And I thought, ‘This ball looks so round and delicious!'”
The man dropped his fork. “A ball? You cooked me the neighbor’s dog’s ball?!”
The woman shrugged. “Well, what was I supposed to do? It said ‘organic’ on it!”
