Aches and Pains

A man walks into a doctor’s office, looking very concerned. “Doctor,” he says, “I’m in so much pain. It hurts everywhere.”

The doctor, looking a bit skeptical, asks him to be more specific.

The man touches his shoulder and yells, “Ouch!” Then he touches his knee and screams, “Ouch!” He touches his forehead and cries out, “Ouch!”

No matter where he touched himself, he felt a sharp pain.

The doctor watched him for a moment, then a look of understanding crossed his face. “I see the problem,” he said calmly.

“Oh, thank goodness!” the man exclaimed. “What is it, doc? What’s wrong with me?”

The doctor looked him straight in the eye and said, “Your finger is broken.”
