A young boy was sitting on a park bench, quietly observing the world go by. An elderly woman, noticing his thoughtful expression, sat down beside him.
“What are you thinking about, dear?” she asked kindly.
The boy looked up at her with serious eyes. “I’m trying to figure out which is faster: lightning or electricity.”
The woman chuckled gently. “Well, that’s an interesting question! What do you think?”
“I think lightning is faster,” the boy declared confidently.
The woman raised an eyebrow. “Oh? And why is that?”
The boy leaned in conspiratorially. “Because I’ve seen lightning, and then I’ve heard the thunder. But electricity? I’ve never heard it make a sound!”
