An older man named George went for his annual check-up. The young doctor looked at his chart and asked, “Mr. Peterson, how’s your memory these days?”
George smiled proudly. “Excellent. I remember everything. My wife’s birthday, the day we moved into our house, even my dog’s birthday. Never missed a beat.”
The doctor nodded. “Good, good. And any chest pain or shortness of breath?”
George raised an eyebrow. “Only when I see my electricity bill.”
They both chuckled.
Then came the blood pressure reading. The doctor frowned. “Hmm… a bit high. Have you been stressed?”
George paused. “Well, my neighbor just put up wind chimes. Big ones. Every time there’s wind, it’s like I live inside a haunted orchestra.”
The doctor chuckled again. “I’ll write that down as ‘environmental agitation.’”
At the end, the doctor said, “Honestly, you’re in great shape. You’ve got the energy of someone twenty years younger.”
George grinned. “Funny you say that. My wife says the same thing… when she’s angry and trying to carry the groceries alone.”
