Lost Vacation Photos

A couple returns from a fantastic vacation, eager to show their friends all the beautiful photos they took. They gather everyone in the living room, ready to project the images.

“You won’t believe the sunset photos from the beach!” the wife exclaims.

“And the mountain views were breathtaking!” adds the husband.

He clicks the remote, and the first image appears on the screen. It’s a perfectly clear, close-up photo… of his own ear.

Everyone looks confused. He clicks again. The next photo is a blurry shot of his wife’s chin. The next, a picture of his own thumb.

The wife throws her hands up. “What is going on? Where are our vacation pictures?”

The husband frantically clicks through more photos: a blurry shot of the airplane floor, the inside of his luggage, a close-up of a hotel bedspread.

Finally, he stops clicking and sighs. “Oh, no,” he says, a dawning realization on his face.

His wife stares at him. “What? What is it?”

“I think,” he mutters, “I accidentally kept the camera on ‘selfie mode’ for the entire trip.”
